Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is located beside
Lough Leane, the largest of the three lakes of Killarney
and has panoramic views of the Killarney mountains.
Killarney Golf Club is blessed by having three parkland
18-hole championship courses. The Killeen course was
the venue for the Irish Open in 1991& 1992, the
event was won by Nick Faldo who displayed his great
skill and determination to win the tournament two
years running. It also hosted the 1996 Curtis Cup.
Mahony's Point (Par 72, 6,781 yards), Killeen (Par
72, 7,123 yards), and Lackabane (Par 72, 7,095 yards)
are nestled amidst the serene splendour of the Macgillicuddy
Reeks. The inspiring setting of incomparable beauty
in the colourful and varied shrubbery throughout the
courses, has moved many an overseas golfer to extol
it as 'the most enchanting place on Earth'
