In
1866 the Old Convent house was built as a convent
by the presentation nuns who taught in the local
school until they emigrated to Western Australia
in 1891. The O’Sullivan Family bought
the house in 1896 and it is being run as a family
guesthouse today by the fifth Generation of
the O’Sullivan family, Sean O’Sullivan.
